Government has presented 17 brand new pick-up vehicles to the Ashanti Regional Health Directorate to boost healthcare delivery in the region. The vehicles, worth 3.2 million cedis, are to be distributed to the various district health directorates in the region to facilitate the movement of staff on outreach health programmes and delivery of medical supplies. Of the 43 health directorates in the region, only three of them had vehicles for official use. The ads were run by sanitary pad brand Libra last month and showed stained underwear and blood on a woman’s legs.
