Health service providers at the Yendi Municipal Hospital have lamented over attacks and backlash received from the community in the discharge of their duties. They say there is no cooperation in service delivery between residents and the hospital staff. The service providers complain frequent attacks and insults on nurses by patients and relatives of these patients are becoming too many. Education Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has asserted that at least 432,405 students who qualified for senior high school have been placed. The number represents 91.2 percent of the total placement for first year students out of the 473,728 qualified candidates. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said Education Minister Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh lacks the know-how on how to effectively run the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
