Self-acclaimed Dancehall king Shatta Wale staged a breathtaking performance at Loud In Bukom as he kept fans on their feet till almost 7:00am Sunday. The show had started on Saturday night at the Bukom Square and featured several other artistes. But it starred Tinny, the godfather of Shatta Wale. A waiter near Paris has been shot dead by a customer who was reportedly angry because his sandwich was not prepared quickly enough. Police say a murder investigation has been launched after the incident on Friday evening in the eastern suburb of Noisy-le-Grand. The suspect fled the scene and has not been caught. Ambulance crews tried to save the 28-year-old waiter, who had been shot in the shoulder, but he died at the scene. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has presented agricultural equipment to the Agricultural Mechanisation Centre at Wulensi in the Northern Region. The equipment, comprising tractors, power tillers, harvesters, ploughs, amongst others, were presented by the President on Friday, August 16, as part his two-day tour. A Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Dr. Lord Mensah, has opposed assertions by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, that the banking sector clean-up which resulted in the setting up of the Consolidated Bank of Ghana (CBG) yielded positive results including improved deposits.
