Four immigration officers who stopped the smuggling of petroleum products from Ghana to Togo through unapproved routes in the Volta Region have been honoured by the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS). The National Media Commission (NMC) has ruled that a Joy News investigative documentary ‘Militia in the Heart  of the Nation’ fell short of ethical standards. The Commission, however, admitted the operations of the alleged pro-government vigilantes De-Eye Group at the Osu Castle was a matter well within the public interest.
