The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has congratulated St. Augustine’s College for emerging winners of this year’s National Science and Mathematics Quiz (NSMQ) competition. Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has held a day’s seminar for its Chartered Accounting staff at Cocoa House in Accra with a call by the Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Boahen Aidoo, to embrace emerging trends in the financial fraternity. The year-on-year inflation rate in Ghana fell to 9.1 per cent in June, from 9.4 per cent recorded in May. The fall is due to a 0.3 percentage point fall in the inflation rate of the Non-Food group and a 0.2 percentage point fall in the inflation of the Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages group. Ghana is set to host the ‘I have a vision (IHAV) Project Conference 2019’ aimed at tackling issues with the standard and quality of education in Africa.
