The Business Development Manager at the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), George Kojo Anti, has said political nepotism is hampering the Authority from enforcing the laws in executing its mandate of ensuring the best of standards in the country. Mining giants Goldfields Ghana have commissioned the recently reconstructed 33-kilometer road from Tarkwa to Damang in the Western Region. The asphalt road built at a cost of $27 million is the largest public infrastructure project funded by the global gold firm. According to him, the hosting comes with many great opportunities for the country, including job opportunities for Ghanaians and direct foreign investments. A woman, seen in a viral video selling products she claims enhance the sexual drive of women, has been arrested by the police in collaboration with the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).  The video shows a well-stocked shop, said to be at Madina in Accra, where women, predominately young ladies, throng ostensibly to buy the products. Chief Executive of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, has touched down in Accra from Dubai after spending about six months in custody in the United Arab Emirates for alleged criminal offences. He was whisked away from the Kotoka International Airport by operatives of the Criminal Investigations Department to the Police headquarters where he is undergoing interrogation.
