The University of Education Winneba (UEW) has postponed indefinitely, the mid-semester examinations which were scheduled to begin from April 9. No reasons were given for the decision contained in a statement issued Thursday by the University Registry, but it is believed to be linked to the closure of the school in March 14 following protests that turned violent. University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is set for reopening on April 8, 2019, Chairman of the Governing Council, Prof. Emmanuel Nicholas Abakah has announced.
