The Director of Tema Ports under the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Edward Kofi Osei, has been removed from his post by President Nana Akufo-Addo. Though Mr Osei was asked to hand over his position to General Manager in charge of Legal, Mrs Sandra Opoku, by March 3, he complied with the directive on Friday, March 1. A lower court in Kumasi has refused bail for three persons accused of being part of a 12-man gang that shot and killed one person at the Ashanti regional office of the National Democratic Congress.
