Ghana Export-Import Bank (GEXIM), an export development financing bank, will construct 100 greenhouses across the country in 2019 under its “Youth In Greenhouse Enterprise Project (YUGEP)”. The initiative is to promote investment in greenhouse vegetable production, reduce huge and persistent importation of vegetables, as well as create employment within the economy. The intervention is also an import-substitution strategy to increase the production and yield of vegetable output in the country. The German designer, who was the creative director for Chanel and Fendi, was one of the industry’s most prolific figures and worked up until his death. Two hundred and eighty-four LLB graduates have failed Ghana’s professional law course examination that would have given them the licence to practise in the country as fully fledged lawyers. Only 64 of the graduates who sat for the June and September 2018 examination have passed to undertake additional 6-month pupillage before they are called to the Ghana Bar.
