Political campaign has resumed in Nigeria ahead of the February 23 national elections. The elections, which were initially scheduled for February 16, were postponed the same day to next Saturday due to logistical complaints. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) explained the postponement was necessitated by logistical limitations and some 600 suits filed to challenge the electoral processes. The National Executive Council (NEC) of Adisadel College Old Boys’ Association has called for the immediate re-instatement of interdicted headmaster William Kusi-Yeboah, saying the decision by the Ghana Education Service (GES) are affecting the school and it was done in bad faith. Last year, GES interdicted William Kusi-Yeboah “pending the conclusion of investigations into alleged acts of violations of procedures of the Ghana Education Service”. A pharmacist at the Cocoa Clinic, of the Ghana Cocoa Board, in Accra has called for a national campaign to introduce cocoa into children’s menu at an early age. Dr. Edward O. The Ashanti regional police command has declared four persons wanted in connection with a shooting incident which took place at the regional head office of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kumasi.
