The Public Interest Accountability Committee (PIAC) Secretariat has called on the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MoFEP) to provide it with information on all physical infrastructural projects it intends to fund with petroleum revenue in the country this year. Government on Friday inaugurated ten (10) installed automatic weather stations (AWS) for the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) through the Ministry of Communications under its e-transform project. The Agency until the installation of these 10 stations had 22 Synoptic, seven of which were not automatic. These seven have now been replaced with the automatic ones. The Nigerian Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed Nigeria’s Presidential Election which was originally scheduled to come off today, February 16, 2018.
