The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Dr. Ziblim Iddi has reiterated government’s commitment to preserve the Atewa forest reserve. At the unveiling of the official music video for the preservation campaign, the minister said the campaign will save the depleting forest from galamsey activities. The police in Ashanti Region have arrested nine suspects including a 12-year-old boy in connection with the murder of the late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama. Ashanti Regional Police PRO, ASP Juliana Obeng, who confirmed the arrest to TV3, said the boy was arrested at Manso Nkwanta, the capital of the Amansie West District in the Ashanti Region on Saturday.
