Kate Addo insisted that there is nothing wrong with the cameras in Parliament and wondered why someone will peddle such falsehood. Government has given the green light to all health training institutions across the country to begin admission of persons wishing to pursue nursing and its related courses. A statement issued by the Ministry of Health to all principals of the various institutions read in part: “…applications into Health Training Institutions commences from April 3, to 29th May 2017”. The shooting of a teacher in Wa in the Upper West Region last Saturday has triggered protest against the Police in the regional capital, whose action the youth have condemned. The speaker of Nigeria’s northern state of Kano has said that the public will be consulted on a bill that aims to ban poor men from marrying more than one wife.
