President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo joined other NPP functionaries and political bigwigs to mark the 80th birthday celebration of former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
The celebration took place at the former President’s resident in Accra Saturday and saw the hundreds of people who gathered there celebrate the life of the man popularly referred to as the ‘Gentle Giant’.
Former Chairman of the NPP, Paul Afoko, Hajia Ramatu Aliu Mahama who is the wife of the late Vice President, Aliu Mahama together with some NPP executives as well as friends and family gathered to celebrate with the man who served two terms as president of Ghana.
Mr. Kufuor who served as the President of Ghana from 2001 to 2009, and also served as the Chairman of the African Union from 2007 to 2008.
