Musician Kwame Asare Obeng has fired a salvo definitely in reaction to a threat issued by the Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, to sue him after Friday, June 1 if he failed to apologise for some earlier comments.
In a letter written by lawyers for the Minister Safo & Marfo @ Law, Mr Obeng, known in showbiz as A-Plus, was to apologise for a “defamatory publication” on his Facebook page.

But a defiant A-Plus, a few hours after the letter was made public, said he cannot be intimidated by threats and “you people will regret knowing me”.
“I will fight you till I drop dead,” he posted on Facebook on Tuesday, May 29.
It seems there was public mockery of him about the post to the effect that he has been “used” and probably “dumped” by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), a party he has resolved to serve as chairman one day.
He later posted:
It remains to be seen what the next decision of the Minister will be after Friday.
