The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) recorded a major financial turnaround in 2025, moving from a GH¢77.58 million deficit in 2024 to a GH¢110.45 million surplus in 2025, according to the 2025 State Ownership Report. The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) recorded a strong financial performance in 2025, with total revenue increasing by 43.09% from GH¢572.71 million in 2024 to GH¢819.50 million, according to the 2025 State Ownership Report. The growth was driven largely by Internally Generated Funds (IGF), which rose by 38.40% from GH¢431 million in 2024 to GH¢596.50 million in 2025. The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has inaugurated a Preliminary Investigation Committee on Seized Foreign Currency as part of efforts to address the movement of undeclared foreign currency through Ghana’s airports and border points. The Minority in Parliament staged a sudden walk-out from the vetting of three Supreme Court nominees after participating in the session for two minister-designate.
