Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold have been penciled down as Ghana’s representatives for next year’s CAF inter-club competitions. Both clubs have been given the first right of refusal to a proposal by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to have them represent the country. Should they accept, both clubs will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup respectively. The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has cancelled the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season. A decision was reached in a marathon meeting held on Tuesday, June 30. The meeting was to decide on the way forward. Prior to Tuesday’s meeting, the GFA, despite incessant pressure, maintained that it was only going to communicate its resolution by the end of the month. More than 40,000 hybrid oil palm seedlings are expected be distributed to about 500 farmers in the Mpohor District of the Western Region.
