The actor will be buried in a private burial at Obosomase in the Eastern Region. Fifty trafficked Nigerian women have been rescued from Lebanon and returned home, Nigeria’s foreign minister says. They have all been placed in quarantine following their arrival on Sunday as a precaution against coronavirus. All persons who contracted coronavirus in the Upper East Region have fully recovered. The Region as of Monday, May 25 had recorded 26 cases of the viral disease. Speaking at the Ministry of Information’s bi-weekly update on Tuesday, May 26, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said the region has seen “some level of clean sheet” as almost all the patients have recovered. “Their treatment centre is temporarily closed until they have a new case,” Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye said. Ghana’s total cumulative case count of coronavirus is now 6,964, according to the Director General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS). Twenty-seven patients more have, however, recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,097 while 32 persons have so far lost their lives despite a majority of them with comorbidities.
