An Accra Circuit Court has acquitted and discharged six out of the remaining 10 suspects standing trial for the deadly jail break at the Kwabenya District Police headquarters. Justice Aboagye Tandoh freed the six after enough evidence was not adduced by prosecution during trial. The six are George Yeboah, Edward Lartey and Geroge Sabah. The others are Elvis Owusu, George Asante and Theophilus Banda. Four have, however, been asked to open their defence after a prima facie case was established by prosecution against them. The Ghana Football Association has sealed a five-year deal with Zylofon Media for the sponsorship of the Ghana Premier League. Beginning this season, Zylofon Media will dedicate its subsidiary firm, Zylofon Cash, as the sponsors of the nation’s top-tier league. The deal was signed on Thursday in Accra.
