A team of ODADE3 (Presbyterian Old Boys Association) walloped its Mfantsipim counterparts (MOBA) in an 111/2-81/2 win for the PRESEC-Legon boys at the Tema Country Golf Club on May Day. The competition, which was hosted by MOBA, was a much anticipated one for the PRESEC boys as this was their inaugural inter-schools golf competition. The PRESEC boys were outstanding in their performance and it was quite surprising to see them wallop the MOBA team. The ODADE3 team displayed amazing skills as they were a delight to watch. A mortuary in Mississippi is being sued by the husband of a gay man for allegedly refusing to cremate him because of his sexuality. John “Jack” Zawadski, 82, and his nephew filed the lawsuit after being told that the funeral parlour did not “deal with their kind”. Their legal team argue the response of staff at the Picayune mortuary devastated Mr Zawadski and his family. A South Korean warship is heading for Somalia to hold an anti-piracy drill in waters off the country’s coast. The 4,400-ton destroyer Daejoyoung left the South Korean port of Busan yesterday, with a 300-strong crew on board. Friday’s drill will involve the destroyer Daejoyoung, a 17,000-ton commercial vessel and 350 seamen and sailors, the South Korean news agency Yonhap reports. The country has had a naval unit in the Gulf of Aden since 2009 as part of global efforts to combat piracy off the coast of Somalia.
