The Northern Regional Police Command has picked up some persons in connection with the murder of late Corporal Agatha Nana Nabin. In a press statement signed by Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Yussif Tanko, the police said the suspects were picked up in Tamale to assist in investigations. “One of them (name withheld) sustained gunshot injury in the course of arrest and is currently on admission under guard responding to treatment,” the statement said. Government budget for the implementation of the country’s Inclusive Education policy has been dropped significantly, Capacity Building Manager at Star Ghana Foundation, Ms Eunice Agbenyadzi, has revealed. “In 2018 its [budget] constituted 0.3%, in 2019 it dropped to 0.1% at a time we are pledging to increase allocation,” she stated.
