Ghana Medical Relief a non-profit organisation, made up of medical practitioners and volunteers from the US and Ghana, has embarked on a health outreach exercise in Anomabo in the Central Region. Ghana will for the second consecutive time take part in the United Nations simulation World Youth Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa from September 30 to October 2, 2019. The government of Ghana has suspended its concession agreement with Power Distribution Services (PDS) with “immediate effect”, Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has announced. “The decision follows the detection of fundamental and material breaches of PDS’ obligation in the provision of Payment Securities (Demand Guarantees) for the transaction which have been discovered upon further due diligence,” the minister said in a statement on Tuesday.
