A 47-year-old man has under a strange circumstance, stabbed his six-year-old son to death at Diabene, a farming community within the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis of the Western Region. Kwaku Aaba, a local gin distiller, allegedly used a sharp machete to slash the boy’s neck from the back without any provocation whatsoever, causing him to bleed to death Friday morning. Eighteen persons engaged in open defecation at various locations within the Cape Coast metropolis have been arrested by the police in the Central Region in a special operation to clamp down on criminals.
