Authorities at the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital in the Central Region says it has launched a full scale investigation into how 63-year-old patient, James Egan, sustained several bruises and scratches on his hands and other parts of the body. The victim was admitted on May 1, 2019 for stress management and was discharged on Monday, June 3, 2019 rather brutalized. Mr. Egan’s family had called on the authorities of the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital to investigate and bring the perpetrators to book. A 40-year-old man arrested by the Police at Asikuma in the Central Region over alleged possession of wee has died in custody, causing some residents to besiege the Asikuma Police station.
