Government has given financial clearance for the recruitment of 2,200 new staff to fill vacancies for the six new regions and the recently inaugurated 44 new assemblies. Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey says the decision to obtain French as a second language is a major concern of the Government of Ghana, in line with national priorities.
