The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, on Thursday, March 20, 2025, made a significant donation to the Ghana Prisons Service on behalf of businessman and philanthropist Mr Ibrahim Mahama. The donation is aimed at supporting the feeding of inmates during the Ramadan season. The contribution, which includes 1,000 bags of rice, 417 boxes of cooking oil, 200 boxes of mackerel, and 300 boxes of tin tomatoes, will be distributed across ten prisons nationwide.
