The Trades Union Congress has asked government to immediately reconstitute the boards of the National Labour Commission, the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission as well as that of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA). The Union said “these institutions play very important roles in labour administration in Ghana” hence the need for the government to reconstitute the boards without further delays. Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has signed a memorandum of understanding on behalf of the Government of Ghana for the construction of a Gulf Medical University and Teaching Hospital in Ghana.
