The house of a well-known serial caller, Appiah Stadium, came under serious attack Sunday evening as assailants tried to burn down his house in the Ashanti region. Some unknown persons allegedly bombarded the house with petrol bombs with occupants indoors. It was a traumatic scene early Sunday when a man believed to be in his twenties, butchered his pregnant girlfriend to death and attempted suicide at Asankragua Newtown in the Western Region. Former President Jerry John Rawlings has again been forced to purge himself of false attributions that sought to pitch him into others. The latest of such attributions is a widely circulated post on social media, suggesting that pastors without jobs are thieves. “Paul was a tent maker, Peter was a fisherman, Jesus was a carpenter.
