A mother in the US state of Michigan has been sentenced to seven days in jail after she refused a judge’s order to have her son vaccinated. Rebecca Bredow would not let her nine-year-old be immunised after initially agreeing with the father to do so. Her ex-husband has now been awarded temporary primary custody in order to get the boy the jab. Michigan parents are legally allowed to skip or delay their children’s vaccinations due to personal beliefs. A sheer heroism of a forex bureau attendant led to the arrest of a member of an armed robbery gang at Kingsby Junction, Achimota in Accra. At least four 20-footer containers full of rotten mackerel, with the brand name ‘Asahi’ cleared at Tema Port on Saturday September 30, have found their way onto the Ghanaian Market, TV3 can confirmed. Some angry okada (commercial motor riders) and commercial drivers besieged the premises of 3FM Wednesday over the recent increase in fuel prices. Their action was ostensibly fueled by the projection of the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers-Ghana (COPEG) over impending increases in fuel prices if government does not intervene.
