A suspected serial killer in Kenya has escaped from custody, prompting a manhunt, police say. In July police said Collins Jumaisi Khalusha had confessed to the murders of 42 women, including his wife, since 2022. Mr Khalusha’s lawyer denied the claim, saying his client had been tortured to confess. The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has ended its two-month strike. This decision was announced in a statement released on Tuesday, August 20. Residents of East Mamprusi are outraged after a seven-month pregnant woman was gang-raped by six armed men on the deteriorating Gambaga-Dagbriboari road in the North East Region. A woman, believed to be in her forties has died after she was allegedly pushed out of a taxi by some unknown persons. According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened late in the evening of Thursday, August 15, 2024, between Star Junction and Agric Junction in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti region.
