A suspected serial killer in Kenya has escaped from custody, prompting a manhunt, police say. In July police said Collins Jumaisi Khalusha had confessed to the murders of 42 women, including his wife, since 2022. Mr Khalusha’s lawyer denied the claim, saying his client had been tortured to confess. The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has ended its two-month strike. This decision was announced in a statement released on Tuesday, August 20. Residents of East Mamprusi are outraged after a seven-month pregnant woman was gang-raped by six armed men on the deteriorating Gambaga-Dagbriboari road in the North East Region.
