US President Donald Trump is to visit the UK on Friday 13 July, after previously cancelling a trip amid claims he would face mass protests. It will not be the full-blown state visit Mr Trump was promised when Prime Minister Theresa May visited the White House in January last year. But an invitation to a state visit still stands, the BBC understands. BBC North America editor Jon Sopel said he understood the president was likely to meet the Queen during the visit. Mr Trump will hold talks with Mrs May, Downing Street said, with further details to be “set out…

This is expected to alleviate the water and sanitation challenges in rural Ghana. The Projects Manager at GNPC Foundation, Patience Lartey, said the community entry activities have been necessitated by the need to ascertain the veracity of the conditions of the selected communities, their water needs and to…

Rapper Kanye West is already under fire after his recent return to Twitter for tweeting his support for US President Donald Trump. The president responded on Twitter: “Thank you Kanye, very cool!” West’s wife, Kim Kardashian-West, quickly came to his defence after his tweets sparked online backlash. “To the media trying to demonise my husband let me just say…

Marcelo smashed home a half-volley from the edge of the penalty area to level matters before Asensio capitalised on an error by Rafinha to score a breakaway goal. Joshua Kimmich had put Bayern in front when he slotted past Keylor Navas at the near post. The German champions…

The swearing-in of other MPs then got under way.. The APC is the biggest party in parliament,…
