Family of late police officer, Agatha Nana Nabin, who was murdered while on duty at a police snap check point at Malshegu in Tamale on the Kumbungu road have settled on August 24, to bury her. Facebook is failing to shut down groups on its site where fake Amazon reviews are sold, consumer group Which? claims. Facebook was urged in June by the Competition and Markets Authority to probe the sale of fake reviews via these groups. Which? claimed to have uncovered several active groups that recruited people to write fake testimonies. Facebook said it had removed almost all the groups reported to it and was still investigating the issue. Seventy teachers within the Kwahu East municipality of the Eastern Region have received full scholarship from the Bryan Acheampong Foundation (BAF) to undertake postgraduate courses at the Presbyterian University College. The beneficiaries of the 429,000-cedi scholarship package have taught for at least 10 years. Prison authorities in Brazil have found convicted drug dealer Clauvino da Silva dead in his cell, three days after an elaborate escape was foiled. Prison officials said it appeared that Silva had hanged himself. Guards on Saturday stopped Silva as he tried to walk out of the prison disguised as his teenage daughter.
