The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and National Lottery Authority (NLA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at improving revenue mobilization and job creation for the youth. The MoU is expected to help create an enabling environment for the realization of President Nana Akufo-Addo’s vision of Ghana Beyond Aid. Policy think-tank IMANI-Africa and the Minister of Energy have received their fair share of bashing over the back-and-forth regarding the new oil contract signed between the government and Norwegian oil firm Aker Energy. The two have clashed on the deal with the policy think-tank claiming Ghana could lose a whopping $30 billion if government does not revisit the contractual agreement. A final-year student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) has been busted after he allegedly attempted to stuff a ballot box during a poll to elect new Executives of the Students Representative Council (SRC) on Friday.
