A woman has said she was 16 when former US President George HW Bush groped her buttocks as she posed for a photo with him and her mother. Rosyln Corrigan is the sixth woman to accuse Mr Bush of inappropriately touching her in similar circumstances. An initiative by the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly to keep the city clean and green has received a boost with a donation of GHC66,950 to the Assembly. The donation by the National Investment Bank followed a request made by the KMA to the bank to support the initiative dubbed “Keep the City Clean and Green”. The Teachers and Education Workers’ Union (TEWU) says it would be compelled to boycott the 2018 World Teachers Day celebration in Ghana if the Ghana Education Service (GES) continue to sideline them in the teachers’ award scheme. A warrant has been issued by an Accra Magistrate Court for the arrest of a 30-year-old man who allegedly murdered his girlfriend at Mamprobi in Accra. Two suspects are in the grips of the Northern Regional Police Command for the murder of the Head Pastor of the End Times Believers Fellowship in Tamale, Pastor Ebenezer Ocran. Kwame Dogyi, 28, and Obio Akwasi, 21, are both third year Electrical Engineering students at the Tamale Technical University in the Northern Region.
