Some youth, believed to be members of the governing New Patriotic Party, today made botched attempts to takeover the offices of the National Health Insurance Scheme in Sagnerigu and Tamale metropolis. Heaps of uncollected solid waste within the central business district of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region have triggered fears of a possible cholera outbreak in the area if immediate action is not taken. A 32-year old man said to be suffering from high-fever has allegedly beheaded his girlfriend under a mysterious circumstance at a village near Kasseh in the Ada District of the Greater Accra Region.
