A tigress that killed four people in the west Indian state of Maharashtra died on Saturday, days after a court upheld an order to kill it. The animal was electrocuted by a fence erected by a farmer to keep out wild boar, wildlife officials said. Officials called off their hunt for the two-year-old tigress after they found its body by the fence early on Sunday. Sunda International Ghana Ltd. and Twyford Ceramics,  two Chinese companies have extended their donation of relief items after the Atomic Junction gas explosion to affected students of the University of Ghana. The affected students, through appeals from the MP for Ayawaso West Wagon constituency, Emmanuel Agyarko, received assorted products including Kleesoft Dish washing soap and washing powder, Kleesoft toilet rolls, FasKit insecticide killers and many more. Board Chairman of State Transport Company (STC), Samuel Oppong has vowed to ensure that the state-owned transport operates from the Asafo bus terminal in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. This follows a move by the VIP bus operators on Monday morning to stop STC from operating from the Asafo terminal. The Ghana International Bank Public Liability Company has denied linking the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to any act of money laundering. Six students of the Walewale Vocational Technical School were involved in a fatal accident over the weekend. The Girls Prefect of the school, Osman Mukarima lost her life in the unfortunate accident. A massive bomb attack in a busy area of the Somali capital Mogadishu on Saturday is now known to have killed at least 230 people, police say. Hundreds more were wounded when a lorry packed with explosives detonated near the entrance of a hotel.
